SEG Asset management approached us for a solution to a problem.
SEG Asset management had a project which would be carried out over a few years, of which it was going to be organic and grow and move over the next few years. They need a system which was ground based secure and solid, but has the ability to be moved in short time and a system with very little waste with products that can be reused time and time again. Four Seasons Fencing came up with a cost effective weld mesh system to three sides of the site, which could be moved and adapted during the build process, making it cost effective to added and subtract from the fence lines. At the end of the project removed stored and reused on other projects in the future, subject to fare wear and tear.
Scope of Works
To carry out the supply and installation of approximately 35 linear metres of 2.4m high site hoarding. Fencing made up as per specification with 1no. 5.0m wide double leaf mesh clad vehicle gate.
Posts 150 x 75 x 3000mm, PAR C24 softwood timber posts set in suitable concrete foundations.
Timber Rails 3 No. 100 x 47, PAR C24 softwood timber rails, screwed to post face.
Ply Sheets 2440 x 1220 x 18mm Softwood Ce2+ Structural exterior grade Ply; screwed to rails.
Top/Bottom Boards 70 x 12, 44 x 12 and 225 x 12mm PAR Softwood, screwed along top and bottom of ply.
Vertical Cover Strips 44 x 12 PAR softwood cover strips screwed vertically over ply joints.
Finish Painted one colour
To carry out the supply and installation of approximately 120 linear metres of 2.4m high mesh site hoarding. Fencing made up as per specification.
Posts 60 x 60 x 3150mm long SHS complete with threaded inserts for securing panels. Posts c/w flat plastic post caps.
Panels 2330mm H x 3000mm W panels fabricated from 5mm dia galvanised wire.
Mesh Size 200 x 50mm c/w 30mm barbed top
Rigid Beams 2.4m high panels come c/w 3 nr. beam sections to add rigidity
Fixings Panels are fixed using 5 No. Universal PVC Brackets and M8 x 30mm stainless-steel tamper-proof screws per post.
Coating Pre-Galvanised material before manufacture
