Scope of works
New Main Entrance Gate
To supply and install 1no. new pedestrian access gate in the front boundary of the above school. We will cut an opening into the existing mesh fence line and install 1no. 1.8m High x 1.5m Wide manual single leaf access gate. Existing fencing will be linked into the new gate posts. Gate will be powder coated green to infilled to match the existing gate to the left of the new gate. Gate posts set in suitable concrete foundations
Mesh Fencing
To supply and install new 1.8m high P656 twin wire mesh fencing system to either side of the front entrance to the school as indicated on the amendments drawing supplied 18/05/2022. On one side we will fence from the boundary to the building and on the opposite side we will install the same fence but include a 1.2m wide pedestrian gate. Pedestrian gate will be padlockable and on adjustable hinges. Fencing as per below specification.
Posts 60 x 60 x 2400mm long SHS complete with threaded inserts for securing panels. Posts c/w flat plastic post caps.
Panel Size 1830mm High x 2506mm Wide
Mesh Size 200 x 50mm mesh – 1 x 5mm vertical wire sandwiched between 2 x 6mm horizontal wires. Vertical wires protrude to provide a 30mm
barbed top.
Fixings Panels are fixed using 5 No. Universal PVC Brackets and M8 x 30mm stainless-steel tamper-proof screws per post.
Coating Galvanised & Polyester Powder Coated Green (RAL 6005)
Picket Fencing
In the centre of the front of the school we will supply 900mm high to either side of the new footpath as indicated on the drawing supplied. Approx 10m either side
