Scope of works
Steel Palisade
To supply and install 21 linear metres of 3.0m high galvanised steel palisade fencing, complete with a 1.2m wide personnel gate. This will completely enclose the steps leading to the slues gate bridge over the river Medway.
Fence Specification:
Steel Palisade 3000mm High
Posts 100 x 55 x 6.72kg/m RSJ, 3.925 overall, dug in and set in concrete foundations at 2.75m post centres.
Pales 2mm thick ‘W’ profile, 2.95m overall, 17 No. per panel with triple pointed tops.
Horizontals 2 No. 50 x 50 x 6mm RSA c/w fish plates.
Rail Fixings M12 cup square bolts with permacone type nuts.
Pale Fixings M8 galvanised T-Head bolt with permacone nuts.
Finish Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 after manufacture
Gate Leaf 1 no. 1.2m wide x 3.0m high single leaf gate set at the entrance to the steps. Gate leaf c/w padlockable slide-bolt. Padlock not included.
