The Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat has been designed as a complete outdoor seating unit, with the round table top and surrounding bench seats all built into one connected structure. This makes it particularly practical for outdoor areas where a permanent or semi-permanent seating feature is preferred.

Unlike separate tables and chairs, which can be moved, misplaced or blown around in poor weather, this integrated design keeps the seating and table area fixed together. The bench seats are arranged around the central table, creating a sociable layout where users can sit facing one another. This makes the table ideal for outdoor meals, drinks, children’s activities, relaxed seating, garden gatherings or general everyday use.

The round shape is also a useful design feature. A circular table creates a more informal seating arrangement than a rectangular table, helping the space feel open and accessible from several directions. It works well in the centre of a lawn, on a patio, beside a play area or within a landscaped garden where a softer, more balanced shape may look more natural.

Product Measurements

The Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat is supplied with the following measurements:

• Diameter of table top: Ø 130cm
• Total diameter: Ø 210cm
• Table and bench boards: 36mm x 140mm
• Finish: Pressure treated with light green preservative

These dimensions make the set a substantial but practical garden furniture option, suitable for outdoor seating areas where a complete table and bench arrangement is required.

Pressure Treated Timber for Outdoor Use

All of our garden furniture is supplied pressure treated with a light green preservative. This treatment is designed to help protect the timber while also giving the wood a decorative outdoor finish. Pressure treatment is an important feature for timber garden furniture because it helps improve resistance against the conditions furniture will face outside, including damp weather and regular exposure to changing temperatures.

The light green preservative gives the timber its fresh, treated appearance when supplied. Over time, outdoor timber will naturally weather and settle into its surroundings, but the pressure treatment provides a strong starting point for long-term outdoor use. This makes the Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat a practical choice for customers who want a robust timber seating set without needing to immediately apply additional treatment before installation.

As with all timber garden furniture, routine care will help preserve the appearance and performance of the product. Keeping the furniture clean, allowing air to circulate around the base and re-treating when required can all help maintain the timber over time.

Strong Table and Bench Boards

The table and bench boards are manufactured from timber measuring 36mm x 140mm. This provides a substantial board profile for both the seating areas and the table top. The board size gives the set a solid, chunky appearance that suits outdoor environments, while also providing a comfortable and practical surface for sitting, dining or placing items on the table.

The wide timber boards used across the table top help create a strong and usable surface. The bench boards follow the same visual style, keeping the whole unit consistent in appearance. This is especially important with an all-in-one furniture design, as the table and seating need to feel like one complete structure rather than separate components.

The rounded ends of the bench seating, visible in the design, add to the overall finish of the product and help soften the appearance of the timber frame. This makes the set feel more suited to gardens and leisure spaces, rather than looking overly industrial or purely functional.

Practical Round Table Dimensions

The Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat has a table top diameter of 130cm, giving a generous central surface for outdoor use. This size is suitable for drinks, plates, books, garden accessories, children’s activities or general seating use. The circular table top allows items to be placed within reach from all sides, helping make the table practical for shared use.

The total diameter of the complete unit is 210cm, which includes the table and built-in bench seats. This is an important measurement when planning where to position the furniture. Customers should allow enough space around the set for people to sit down comfortably, stand up easily and walk around the table when required.

The proportions make it a good choice for medium and larger gardens, patios and outdoor seating areas. It can create a focal point within a lawn or be positioned on a solid surface such as paving, decking or compacted gravel, provided the area is level and suitable for the weight and footprint of the furniture.

Ideal for Gardens, Patios and Outdoor Spaces

This timber round table and bench seat is a versatile furniture option for a wide range of outdoor settings. In a private garden, it can be used as a family seating area for meals, drinks, barbecues or relaxing in the sunshine. On a patio, it creates a ready-made outdoor dining spot without the need to arrange separate chairs around a table.

The all-in-one design can also be useful for shared outdoor spaces, community areas, holiday lets, campsites, school gardens, farm shops, garden centres and pub gardens. Because the seating is built into the table structure, the set remains organised and tidy. This can be helpful in places where furniture needs to stay in position and be easy to manage.

Its natural timber finish also means it blends well with grass, planting, fencing and other outdoor features. The light green pressure treatment gives it a fresh appearance, while the timber construction ensures it remains visually suited to traditional and rural environments as well as modern garden layouts.

Sociable Seating Around a Central Table

The round layout helps create a more sociable seating arrangement. Everyone seated around the table can face towards the centre, making conversation easier and giving the set a relaxed, welcoming feel. This is one of the biggest advantages of a circular table and bench design.

For families, this can make the table useful for outdoor lunches, games, homework in the garden or informal gatherings. For commercial outdoor spaces, it provides a ready-made seating area that encourages people to sit together comfortably. The integrated benches also remove the need to constantly move chairs in and out, which helps keep the area neat.

The curved seating layout gives access from several directions, so the table does not feel closed off. It can be approached easily from the garden, patio or pathway, making it a flexible choice for different layouts.

A Convenient Alternative to Separate Garden Furniture

Separate outdoor tables and chairs can be useful, but they are not always the most practical choice for every setting. Chairs can be moved around, tipped over, dragged across lawns or stored away separately. The Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat avoids this by combining the table and seating into one structure.

This makes it especially useful where customers want a more permanent garden furniture solution. Once positioned, the unit creates an instant seating area that is ready to use. It also helps maintain a tidy appearance because the benches remain aligned with the table.

For customers designing a garden seating area, this type of furniture can be easier to plan around. The total diameter of 210cm gives a clear footprint, so it is simple to measure the available space and decide whether the table will suit the chosen location.

Traditional Timber Appearance

Timber garden furniture remains popular because it has a warm, natural appearance that works well outdoors. The Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat has a traditional look that suits lawns, planting schemes, timber fencing, sheds, pergolas and other garden structures.

The pressure-treated finish gives the furniture a light green tone when supplied, which is typical of treated outdoor timber. Over time, the appearance may mellow as the wood naturally weathers. This gradual change is part of the character of timber furniture and can help the set blend even more naturally into the garden.

The visible timber grain, substantial board sizes and rounded table shape all contribute to the product’s decorative appeal. It is functional furniture, but it is also designed to enhance the appearance of an outdoor space.

Suitable Placement and Installation Considerations

Before positioning the Elite Timber Round Table & Bench Seat, customers should consider the overall diameter of the unit and the space needed around it. The total diameter is 210cm, but additional clearance is recommended so users can sit down and move around comfortably.

The furniture should be placed on stable, level ground wherever possible. A flat patio, paved area, decking, compacted gravel base or level lawn can all be suitable, depending on the intended use and the conditions of the area. If placing the set on grass, it is worth considering drainage and ground firmness, especially in areas that become wet during winter.

As the table and benches are connected, the unit should be treated as one complete item when moving or positioning it. The all-in-one design gives the furniture its strength and stability, but it also means the full footprint should be accounted for before installation.
