The LM Bateman Big Bale Cradle elevates your forage, keeps it clean, and makes every mouthful count. By hoisting a round bale 1.5 metres above ground level, this heavy-duty frame protects hay from mud and moisture while allowing livestock to feed naturally from all sides. The result is a tidier paddock, healthier animals, and far less wasted feed, all achieved with a bolt-together design you can assemble in minutes.
In addition to slashing forage losses, the cradle streamlines day-to-day husbandry. Its open-base architecture promotes airflow through the bale core, slowing mould formation and preserving nutrients during long winter spells. A removable floor panel lets you sweep away fines in seconds, and optional clip-on roof sheets create an instant mini-barn that shrugs off driving rain and snow. Whether you’re finishing beef cattle, overwintering suckler cows, or maintaining a herd of horses, the Big Bale Cradle adapts effortlessly, saving labour, lowering bedding contamination, and squeezing maximum value from every bale delivered to the field.

Providing forage to a pen of full-grown cattle is hard on equipment. Bales are heavy, animals push and shove, and winter weather is relentless. The LM Bateman Heavy-Duty Cattle Ring is engineered to take that punishment day after day, season after season. With a reinforced 610 mm sheeted skirt and a roomy 2,290 mm internal diameter, this beefed-up circular feeder keeps hay contained, reduces waste, and stands firm against even the most boisterous animals.
Built for livestock producers who refuse to tolerate flimsy kit, this ring delivers rock-solid reliability without sacrificing ease of use. Its two-piece bolt-together design means a single person can unload, manoeuvre, and assemble the feeder in minutes, saving valuable labour at the busiest times of year. Once in place, the tall skirt shields forage from driving rain and swirling wind, while the smooth, fully galvanised steel shrugs off corrosion and makes wash-downs quick and simple. Less wasted hay, fewer repairs, and calmer cattle—all from one smart investment in heavy-duty feeding gear.

The LM Bateman Devon Squeeze takes the proven Ambassador Squeeze format and integrates an automatic head yoke, creating a crush that captures consistently and lets the operator focus on the job in hand. It retains the same always-locked squeeze mechanism (a design that holds the sides exactly where you set them) while adding a smooth, spring-assisted yoke reset so the gate is ready for the next animal with minimal input. Internal surfaces are clad with 6 mm polypropylene for durability and reduced contact noise, and the floor combines anti-slip bars with a rubber mat to promote secure footing and quieter operation. Access has been engineered throughout: spring-loaded full-height side doors, TB access doors, a rear sliding door, and a removable side bar give clear reach to the neck and body as required. The Devon Squeeze is specified to handle cattle from approximately 50 kg up to large bulls, with a squeeze range from 750 mm down to 300 mm and an automatic yoke that offers six width settings.
