Our cleft chestnut 5 bar field gate incorporates mortice and tenon joint construction on all rails with diamond bracing bolted at all crossings to produce rigidity and strength. All intermediate and cross braces are hand cleft using traditional cleaving techniques to produce a gate perfect for cleft fencing. Also available in a 4 bar gate.
