All our timber posts are pressure treated to offer long term protection against fungal and insect attack, including termites, for both in and out of ground contact, and general exterior applications. All of our in-ground posts are treated to class UC 4 to provide a 15 year service life. The green colour from the preservative weathers down to a natural brown and eventually to a natural silver grey. The weathering process does not indicate any loss of preservative.
