Red Nose Day 2017

Fundraising

* Thank You *

March 27, 2017

On Friday 24th March 2017 FSF Fencing Supplies held a bake sale for Red Nose Day in our Shop at Bethersden, near Ashford Kent.  We were delighted with the number of customers and general public who came in to support our bake sale and we raised a total of £68.00.  So we would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of those who kindly purchased our cupcakes and for all your donations.

That total in itself is fantastic but another BIG thank you has to go to Graeme Allison Manging Director of FSF Fencing Supplies who has very generously doubled the total amount raised and now our NEW total is a tasty £136.00.  Which is just AMAZING!!

All the money raised so far at Red Nose Day has and will make such a huge difference to the incredible projects across the UK and in Africa.

This Red Nose Day there are five main issues they are specifically focusing on.  These issues are;

  • Immunisation – supporting hundreds and thousands of children being vaccinated against common childhood diseases.
  • Mental Health – raising awareness, helping and supporting projects where people help those who are dealing with mental health issues.
  • Education – providing money to projects supporting parents and providing good quality early years teaching to children who would not otherwise be in school.
  • Domestic Violence – projects where help and support is given to those who are suffering with domestic violence.
  • Fighting Malaria – supporting saving lives with anti-malarial drugs

Red Nose Day fund more than 2,000 projects, throughout the UK, addressing a range of issues, from homelessness and mental health to dementia and vulnerable young people.

Since last Red Nose Day, your money has been able to help 11.7 million people across Africa, tackling issues such as immunisation, malaria, education, maternal health and many others.

So wherever and however you have been fundraising whether it has been a bake sale, dress up or down day or even getting sponsored for a challenge, the money you raise really does change lives.

You can still donate via the official Red Nose Day website http://www.rednoseday.com

Thank You.
