Channel Tunnel Rail Link

Description of Work: Throughout the construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link we carried out numerous projects from Folkestone in Kent to Waterloo Station, London. A number of these projects involved the creation of 'touch potential' screening (25mm x 25mm x 3mm weldmesh panels) to protect personnel from 'potentially' coming into contact with the 25000 Volt overhead powerlines. In this photograph you can see how close the power lines come to the parapet wall as it passes into the tunnel.
